Report: Seneca Wallace plans to retire

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Seneca Wallace is reportedly planning to retire after deciding that he no longer wants to play in the league.

Seneca Wallace has said that he plans to retire from playing in the NFL, according to reports.

The San Francisco 49ers quarterback did not play during the team's 41-6 win over the San Diego Chargers last night.

The Sacramento Bee reports that the 33-year-old told head coach Jim Harbaugh that he no longer plans to play.

Harbaugh added that he had "never seen that on a game day".

Wallace joined the 49ers last week after being released by the New Orleans Saints.
