Chris Culliver defends Jim Harbaugh amid criticism

Chris Culliver refutes claims from former teammate Alex Boone that Jim Harbaugh pushed the players too hard in his tenure at the San Francisco 49ers.

Chris Culliver has defended former head coach Jim Harbaugh amid claims from Alex Boone that the 51-year-old "wore out his welcome" at the San Francisco 49ers.

Harbaugh parted company with the NFC West side at the end of the 2014 season despite a successful tenure at the club in which he guided them to the Super Bowl and two appearances in the NFC championship game in four years.

However, the 51-year-old came under fire from Boone, who suggested that he pushed his players too far in his time at the 49ers, which has now been refuted by Culliver.

Culliver left the 49ers at the end of the 2014 campaign to join the Washington Redskins.
