Alex Boone: 'I want to punch Clay Matthews in the face'

San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman Alex Boone has admitted that he would like to "punch" Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews in the face.

Matthews was fined $15,000 (£9,500) for a late hit on 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, which started a melee where the linebacker then slapped offensive tackle Joe Staley.

When asked about Matthews' fine, Boone told CSNBayArea.com: "Probably punch him in the face. I don't want his money."

San Francisco take on the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
