Chargers GM: 'We will not be trading Rivers'

San Diego Chargers general manager Tom Telesco is adamant that the club have no plans to trade quarterback Philip Rivers.

The 33-year-old revealed that he was prepared to play out the final year of his contract with the AFC West side due to his concerns over the franchise's potential move to Los Angeles in the 2016 season.

Speculation rose that Rivers could be traded to the Tennessee Titans, but Telesco says that the Chargers will not be letting the quarterback leave in the near future.

Telesco told reporters: "It's not even on our radar. He's a Charger. He's our guy. Like I've said before, we'd like to extend him. And when he's ready to do that, we'll get moving on it."

Rivers has been with the Chargers since the 2004 season.
