Chargers agree terms with Marshall

San Diego Chargers have completed the signing of free agent cornerback Richard Marshall.

The 28-year-old has signed a one-year deal with Mike McCoy's side after being released by the Miami Dolphins earlier this week.

The Chargers were looking to bolster their secondary after losing veteran defensive backs Antoine Cason and Quentin Jammer in free agency earlier this year.

Marshall was drafted 58th overall by Carolina Panthers in the 2006 Draft and has recorded 18 interceptions in his seven years in the league.
