Ben Roethlisberger returned to the field for the first time since week three, and engineered a scoring drive on his side's first possession as running back Le'Veon Bell ran through the Bengals' defense.

The 33-year-old capped the drive by firing to Antonio Brown on a quick route to the sideline, and the receiver made the catch for a one-yard touchdown.

Cincinnati responded with a strong drive of their own as Andy Dalton completed several strikes to his wideouts to get into the redzone, but an incompletion to Tyler Eifert forced a field-goal attempt from Mike Nugent, which the kicker sent through the uprights.

The Bengals moved to within a point when Nugent kicked his second field goal of the match, but their offense's struggles in the redzone continued as Dalton failed to find his receivers downfield.

Pittsburgh were dealt a major blow before the break when Bell sustained a serious knee injury when he was tackled making a run down the sideline, resulting him leaving the field on a cart.
