Maclin: 'I want to end my career with Eagles'

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin has revealed that he wants to "end his career" with the club.

The 26-year-old signed a one-year deal with the Eagles earlier this season following the end of his rookie contract with the franchise.

However, Maclin has recorded the best campaign of his career with 82 receptions for 1,269 yards and 10 touchdowns, and is now in line to receive a big-money deal in his next contract.

When asked if he wanted to stay in Philadelphia, he told reporters: "Yeah, this is a great place to be. I've always spoken the best about this organisation.

"Everything [owner Jeffrey] Lurie or Howie [Roseman] or Chip [Kelly] has told me has always been true. So why wouldn't I want to be here?

"This is the place that drafted me, and I want to end my career here. If we can get something worked out when the time is right, then that's what'll happen."

The Eagles selected Maclin in the first round of the 2009 Draft.
