Sam Bradford expects to be ready for Philadelphia Eagles' training camp

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford insists that he will be "ready" when the team's training camp gets underway next weekend.

Sam Bradford has said that he expects to be "ready when camp starts" after recovering from two ACL tears in as many seasons.

The former St Louis Rams quarterback, who has not played in the NFL since October 2013, was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles in the off-season.

The 27-year-old told NJ.com: "If I'm not ready for 11-on-11 by training camp, then something has gone horribly wrong. That's the plan right now. We're going to keep plugging away and be ready when camp starts."

The Eagles' training camp opens next Sunday, with the first practice taking place the following Tuesday.
