Half-Time Report: Philadelphia Eagles in command against New York Giants

Eagles in command against Giants

The Philadelphia Eagles are in complete control of their NFC East clash with the New York Giants as they lead 20-0 at the break.

The Eagles started the game well as Nick Foles moved his side downfield, but they were unable to breach the Giants' defense in the endzone and Cody Parkey fired them ahead with a 31-yard field goal.

Philadelphia continued to press at the visitors and scored a touchdown with an impressive throw by Foles which was equalled by the catch of tight end Zach Ertz in the endzone, as he made a leaping grab for the 15-yard score.

Chip Kelly's side didn't let the Giants settle on offense and yielded five sacks of Eli Manning in the first half, and that helped give them a short field to attack. Foles used this to his advantage as he found James Casey for a 26-yard strike.

The Eagles added another field goal just before the break from the boot of Parkey from 45 yards to give them a 20-point advantage at the half.
