Sebastian Janikowski: 'I'm to blame for poor season'

Oakland Raiders kicker Sebastian Janikowski admits that he is to blame for his poor kicking in the 2013 season as he made just 21 out of his 30 attempts.

Oakland Raiders kicker Sebastian Janikowski has admitted that he is to blame for his poor kicking in the 2013 season.

The 35-year-old made just 21 out his 30 field goal attempts as he worked with new holder Marquette King, as Shane Lechler left the Raiders in 2012 after 13 seasons with the club.

However, Janikowski has assumed all the blame for his inaccuracy after his percentage dropped 11% from the previous campaign.

"It seems like my steps are off to the side and I am too wide," he told the San Francisco Chronicle. "My plant foot is way ahead and I am not finishing."

Janikowski was drafted in the first round of the 2000 Draft by the Raiders.
