Report: NFL considering moving Pro Bowl to Brazil in 2017 season

A report suggests that the NFL is considering moving the Pro Bowl to Brazil for the 2017 season in an attempt to expand their overseas market.

The NFL is considering moving the Pro Bowl to Brazil for the 2017 season, according to a report.

The All-Star game is usually played in Hawaii, but last year was played at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona a week before the ground hosted Super Bowl XLIX.

A report from Fox Sports suggests that the NFL is prepared to move the match to Brazil to increase their overseas market, which already sees the NFL play three matches in the United Kingdom at Wembley.

The format of the Pro Bowl was changed for the 2013 season, where former legends of the game act as captains to pick lineups from a select group of players based on votes during the campaign from players and supporters.
