NFL commissioner Roger Goodell reveals that the Draft could move away from New York City due to interest from other cities to stage the event.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has revealed that the Draft could be moved away from New York City.

Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan has hosted the event for the selection of college players to the NFL since 2006, but Goodell has admitted that there are other cities interested in staging the occasion.

"We're looking at the potential of moving out of New York," Goodell told NFL Network. "Radio City's been a great place for us, but there are a lot of cities that are interested in having us in the future, and we're going to look at that."

The 2014 NFL Draft begins on May 8.
