Report: New York Jets' Rex Ryan clears out his office in anticipation of sack

A report suggests that New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan has cleared out his office as he prepares to be sacked by the club following their final game of the 2014 season.

New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan has reportedly cleaned out his office in anticipation of being fired when his side's 2014 season ends on Sunday.

Jets owner Woody Johnson has brought Charley Casserly, former general manager of the Washington Redskins and Houston Texans, into the organisation as a consultant to seek out a new head coach and a general manager.

Current Jets GM John Idzik is also facing the sack following the team's poor level of performances in his two years at the club, claims NJ Advance Media.

The Jets are 3-12 in their season and have not reached the playoffs since the 2010 campaign.
