New York Jets' Muhammad Wilkerson unsure of minicamp attendance

New York Jets defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson admits that he is unsure whether he will attend his side's minicamp due to his contract dispute with the club.

New York Jets defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson has revealed that he has not yet decided whether to take his contract dispute into the club's mandatory minicamp.

The 25-year-old has held out of his side's off-season workouts and organised team activities after demanding an improved contract.

When asked if he would be at minicamp, Wilkerson told reporters: "I guess we'll see. That's something my agent and I will discuss this weekend. He's here this weekend for my [charity] events, tonight and tomorrow for my football camp. That decision will be made some time this weekend.

"It's a business at the end of the day and all I can do is keep doing what I'm doing, working out and staying in shape and get ready for the season. This is new to me. Hopefully something will get done soon."

Wilkerson has recorded 237 tackles, 24.5 sacks and one interception in his four years in the NFL.
