Report: New York Jets running back Chris Johnson arrested

New York Jets running back Chris Johnson has been arrested, according to a report.

The 29-year-old was arrested by police in Florida for the open carrying of a firearm, which is a second degree misdemeanour.

Johnson does have a gun license to carry a firearm in the state, but the fact that it was open carrying led to his arrest, reports ProFootballTalk.com.

The running back rushed for 663 yards and a touchdown for the Jets in the 2014 campaign.
