New York Jets' Stephen Hill: 'I have to battle for a roster spot'

New York Jets wide receiver Stephen Hill knows that he faces a battle to win a roster spot going into his third year in the NFL after an underwhelming start to his career.

New York Jets wide receiver Stephen Hill feels that he has to give his all during his side's training camp to ensure his place on the team for the 2014 season.

The Jets drafted the 23-year-old in the second round of the 2012 Draft, but he has struggled to make an impact for Rex Ryan's side in his first two years at the franchise.

Hill has admitted he now faces a battle to justify his spot on the roster as he goes into his third season in the NFL.

He told reporters: "Every day I feel like it's my last day. So that's how I play. Nothing is guaranteed in this league. So you have to come out here every day and . . . balls to the wall, basically."

Hill recorded 24 receptions for 342 yards and one touchdown for the Jets in the 2013 season.
