New York Jets' Stephen Hill diagnosed with a concussion

New York Jets wide receiver Stephen Hill is diagnosed with a concussion after taking a hit from Tennessee Titans safety Michael Griffin in his side's defeat.

New York Jets wide receiver Stephen Hill sustained a concussion during his side's defeat to the Tennessee Titans.

The incident occurred in the first quarter of the game when quarterback Geno Smith underthrew a pass for the receiver, which was picked off by cornerback Alterraun Verner and safety Michael Griffin came in with a hit.

Unfortunately for Hill, the hit from Griffin was right on his head but was not flagged by officials. Itt forced him to leave the game and he did not return.

The 23-year-old was later diagnosed with a concussion by the Jets' medical staff, which could rule him out of their clash with the Atlanta Falcons next Monday depending on his recovery.

Rex Ryan's side are 2-2 in their season after week four.
