New York Giants corner Prince Amukamara cleared to play Sunday

Prince Amukamara is cleared to play for the New York Giants after a concussion he suffered last week.

New York Giants cornerback Prince Amukamara has been given the all-clear to take on the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

Following a collision with Ryan Mundy in the second quarter of last weekend's defeat to the Dallas Cowboys, Amukamara failed to practise for the majority of the week, returning only on Friday.

"The usual symptoms came and went away. I am symptom free now though," the New York Daily News quotes him as saying of his concussion.

"The main thing was, the whole protocol is just a long variety of tests and making sure I'm feeling OK. It just took a while, but I'm glad to be cleared."

Amukamara had contributed four tackles and a defended pass before his early exit in Dallas.
