Kenny Stills: 'Richard Sherman doesn't deserve fine'

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Kenny Stills does not believe that Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman deserves a fine for his shove on him.

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Kenny Stills believes that Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman does not "deserve a fine" for his shove on him.

Reports suggest that Sherman will be fined $7,875 (£4,818) for pushing Stills after a play in the second quarter of the Seahawks' win over the Saints on Monday.

Stills told the New Orleans Times-Picayune: "I don't think it deserves a fine.

"We had just been talking trash to one another, and I guess he saw an opportunity to take a shot. It's football.

"You're going to get hit. I didn't take any offense to it. I think it's funny."

The Saints are 9-3 in their season and face a NFC South showdown against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
