Report: John Jenkins to miss New Orleans Saints mini-camp

New Orleans Saints defensive tackle John Jenkins will reportedly be out of action until July after undergoing an operation.

The 24-year-old has missed the club's organised team activities for the past three weeks following minor pectoral surgery.

As a result of the operation Jenkins will also miss the club's mandatory mini-camp, but should be fit for the start of training camp at the end of July, reports NFL Network.

Jenkins recorded 21 tackles in his rookie season for the Saints in 2013.
