Robert Meachem returns to New Orleans Saints

Wide receiver Robert Meachem rejoins the New Orleans Saints, having been released by the San Diego Chargers at the weekend.

Robert Meachem has agreed to return to the New Orleans Saints for the 2013 NFL season.

The wide receiver spent the first five seasons of his career with the NFC South side, but joined the San Diego Chargers last year.

However, the 28-year-old was released by the Chargers as part of the team's final cuts at the weekend.

Meachem took just 14 receptions for the Chargers last season, recording 207 receiving yards and scoring two touchdowns.
