New England Patriots fans arrested for protest at NFL headquarters

Four supporters of the New England Patriots are arrested for staging a protest against Tom Brady's suspension inside the headquarters of the NFL in New York City.

Four New England Patriots fans have been arrested for protesting inside the headquarters of the NFL in New York City.

The supporters staged a sit-in where the league's head office is based on Park Avenue in protest against the four-game suspension given to Tom Brady and the sanctions handed to the New England Patriots for the deflategate scandal.

The four men, who are affiliated with website Barstool Sports, handcuffed themselves together wearing Patriots apparel, including replica Tom Brady shirts, in the lobby of the NFL's office.

Their protest was brought to an end by police when they were arrested and escorted from the premises to a local precinct.

Brady's agent Don Yee has revealed that the quarterback will appeal his ban by the NFL.
