Robert Kraft: 'Darrelle Revis joined us to win'

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft reveals that he is delighted that Darrelle Revis chose to join his side over other NFL sides to win.

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft has hailed the desire of cornerback Darrelle Revis to turn down big-money offers from other NFL teams to join his side.

Revis became the most-sought player during free agency following his release by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and signed a two-year deal with the Patriots after a short time on the open market.

"Here's a young man who had his choice of going to any team in the NFL he wanted, and he came to us. He could have gotten considerable more money going to other teams, but he still came to us," Kraft told reporters.

"I think he knows we're committed to winning as an organisation, I really believe his priority is trying to win."

The Patriots lost in the AFC championship game for the second season in a row in their 2013 campaign.
