Gronkowski named Comeback Player of the Year

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has been named as the NFL Comeback Player of the Year.

The 25-year-old sustained a torn ACL towards the end of the 2013 seasons, just seven games into his comeback from the broken arm that he suffered in 2012.

However, Gronkowski displayed no ill effects of the injury as he dominated defenses into recording an All-Pro campaign with the Patriots, as he notched 12 touchdowns along with over 1,000 receiving yards.

Gronkowski will be part of the Patriots lineup that takes on the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl later today.
