Tedy Bruschi calls on NFL to end Tom Brady ban

Former New England Patriots linebacker Tedy Bruschi has called on the NFL to scrap Tom Brady's suspension.

The Patriots quarterback was banned for four matches for his role in the deflategate scandal earlier this year.

The 37-year-old has appealed the decision, and attended a hearing yesterday.

Bruschi told CSN: "I would like to see it eliminated completely. I support this organisation 100% and I think there's no way they should stop until it's gone completely".

Bruschi played alongside Brady for eight seasons before his retirement in 2008.
