Ridley ruled out for season

New England Patriots running back Stevan Ridley has been ruled out for the season with a torn ACL and MCL, according to reports.

The 25-year-old sustained the injury in the third quarter of his side's win over the Buffalo Bills as he attempted to break a tackle and fell awkwardly on his right leg.

As a result of the injury, Ridley will now likely be placed on the Patriots' injured-reserve list to create a roster spot for the club to replace the running back for the rest of the season, reports several media outlets.

Ridley ran for 394 yards and two touchdowns on 94 carries this season.
