Harrison Smith: "I have no intention of going anywhere"

Minnesota Vikings defensive back Harrison Smith insists that he is intending to stay at the club for the foreseeable future.

Minnesota Vikings defensive back Harrison Smith is adamant that he has no plan to leave the club in the future.

The 26-year-old is under contract for the 2015 season, while the Vikings also have the option of extending the deal until the end of the 2016 campaign.

Smith has become an integral part of the club's defense, leading to speculation that he could be signed to a long-term contract.

"That's all I've thought of doing," Smith told the Minneapolis Star Tribune. "I have no intention of going anywhere else.

"I'll just let [my agency] handle it. I'm just here to play football and we'll see what happens."

Smith has recorded 254 tackles, four sacks and 10 interceptions in his three years in the NFL.
