Adrian Peterson: 'Baltimore Ravens fans are worst in NFL'

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has slammed the Baltimore Ravens fans for their behaviour during yesterday's match between the two sides.

The home supporters took advantage of the snowy conditions during an incredible final quarter that saw the lead change hands six times, including five times in a spell of just over two minutes at the end of the contest.

Peterson was unhappy with how the fans acted in the fourth quarter and branded the Ravens supporters as the worst in the NFL.

"They've got the worst fans in the NFL. [They were] throwing snowballs the entire fourth quarter, like kids. It was a bad feeling, a bad feeling," ESPN quotes Peterson as saying.

The Ravens eventually won the match 29-26 with the game-winning touchdown coming with just nine seconds left on the clock.
