Kenny Stills: 'I was not signed to replace Mike Wallace'

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Kenny Stills is adamant that he was not signed by the club to replace Mike Wallace, who joined the Minnesota Vikings.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Kenny Stills has insisted that he has not been brought into the club to replace Mike Wallace.

The 22-year-old joined the Dolphins in a trade deal from the New Orleans Saints as the AFC East outfit sent away a third-round pick in the 2015 Draft and linebacker Dannell Ellerbe to acquire his services.

As a result of adding Stills to their receiving corps, the Dolphins traded Wallace to the Minnesota Vikings, but Stills is adamant that he is not a direct replacement for the veteran.

"I don't think I was brought in to replace anybody," Stills told reporters. "I'm just here to do whatever I can to help the team win. Mike is a great player, and I've looked up to everything he's done."

Stills has recorded 95 receptions for 1,572 yards and eight touchdowns in his two years in the NFL.
