Ryan Tannehill: 'Win was vital for confidence'

Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill believes that his side's win over the Oakland Raiders at Wembley Stadium was vital to restore his and his teammates' confidence.

Head coach Joe Philbin refused to confirm during the week that Tannehill was still his side's starter following back-to-back defeats, but the quarterback responded with an excellent display in the Dolphins' crushing victory.

"It was huge," Tannehill told reporters. "Not only for me but for the team, as well.

"It just kind of shows the character we have as a team, being able to overcome everything that was going on and come out, travel through a long trip and play well."

The Dolphins now have a 2-2 record in their season following their week four win.
