The 25-year-old, who has impressed during his three years with the club, boycotted the Dolphins' off-season activities but reported to training camp along with his teammates.

Now Miami are poised to reward his excellent performances for Joe Philbin's side with a hefty pay rise along with adding four years to his current deal, which will see him stay at Sun Life Stadium until 2017, reports ProFootballTalk.com.

Jones was drafted by the Dolphins in the fifth round of the 2010 draft.
