The Miami Dolphins have acquired offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie from the Baltimore Ravens for a conditional draft pick.
Joe Philbin's side have given up more sacks than any other team in the NFL this season and were in dire need of help on their line.
McKinnie had fallen down the depth chart at the Ravens following the arrival of Eugene Monroe from the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Dolphins were keen to snap him up.
The tackle himself is looking forward to getting back into action in a state where he played in college for the Miami Hurricanes.
He told NFL Network: "Great to get a chance to play in front of a lot of fans I had since college and to join and help improve a team."
Miami are 3-3 in their season following their defeat to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
