Andy Reid: 'We won't be resting players'

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid is adamant that his side can still secure the one seed in the AFC playoff race and will not be resting any players ahead of the post-season.

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has insisted that he will not rest any players despite his side having already secured a place in the AFC playoffs.

The Chiefs will hold the fifth seed in the AFC despite having one of the best records in the conference as the Denver Broncos hold the advantage over them in the West division and the number one seed.

"I don't think you do," Reid told the Kansas City Star. "We're far enough along in the year, you have enough in the playbook that you can draw from on both sides of the ball and special teams-wise.

"I don't think there's any reason to do that. Plus, the season is still alive."

Kansas City could take the one seed away from the Broncos if John Fox's team were to drop one more game this season and Reid's side were to win out.
