Kansas City Chiefs confirm Andy Reid as new head coach

The Kansas City Chiefs have announced that Andy Reid will be their new head coach.

The Chiefs fired Romeo Crennel on Monday, after they finished the NFL with the worst record this season, winning just two games.

The deal was announced by the Chiefs tweeting a picture of Reid signing his contract.

It is understood that the former Philadelphia Eagles head coach has signed a five-year deal with Kansas City, and will be introduced at a media conference on Monday.

Reid was sacked from his role at the Eagles on Monday.
