Sam Young wants Jacksonville Jaguars opportunity

Jacksonville Jaguars tackle Sam Young is looking forward to earning himself a regular place in the team.

Jacksonville Jaguars offensive tackle Sam Young has targeted a regular place in the team having agreed to remain with the club for the 2014 season.

Young said that compared to other franchises he has played for there is something special about the Jaguars and was looking forward to continuing his stay in Florida.

"It's a great to have a home, particularly here in Jacksonville," Young told the Jags' official website. "Being from Florida, it's great to be able to be close to home.

"Every year's a new year. We haven't hit free agency or the draft, so everything can be up in the air, but from my point of view, I'm just looking for an opportunity. I just want to take advantage of it. I want to help team any way I can and I'm looking forward to proving it.

"Everyone's so genuine here. There's a real sense of caring for people and keeping to your word. That's not always the case, and that's a great thing about Jacksonville."

Young has also played for Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills in his career.
