Mike Munchak seeking revenge over Jacksonville Jaguars

Munchak looking for Jaguars revenge

Tennessee Titans coach Mike Munchak has said that his team owes the Jacksonville Jaguars a beating on Sunday, as they look to avenge previous defeats to their divisional rivals.

The Jaguars - who had lost their opening eight matches - picked up their first win of the campaign when the teams met in November and have since been on a run which has improved their overall record to 4-10.

Munchak's men, however, have been in freefall over the past few weeks, losing three on the bounce to allow the Indianapolis Colts to wrap up the division with consummate ease.

He told reporters: "We definitely owe them as we've been giving them gifts the last few times we've played them. We turned the ball over four times in the last game. In the first play of the game we fumbled the ball, we got a safety, we did everything we could to lose that football game by turning it over and still were down by only two.

"We owe them for this year, last year, the year before that. We owe the Texans. Unfortunately we don't play Indy again, but we owe them, too. We'll have to wait until later for that one.

"You wonder why they're motivated; they're motivated for a lot of reasons to win this football game. It's a pride thing now. It's not going to get any further, playoff-wise. Five wins, six wins, seven wins is not enough wins, but you still could get a lot of satisfaction from it."

Should Jacksonville win the match, the teams will have equal records heading into the final game of the regular season.
