Chad Henne to start despite Blaine Gabbert recovery

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley says that Chad Henne will continue as the team's starting quarterback this week.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have confirmed that Chad Henne will continue as the team's starting quarterback for their game against the San Francisco 49ers this weekend.

Blaine Gabbert, who won the starting job during pre-season, missed the last two games with a hamstring injury, but was a full participant in practice yesterday.

Head coach Gus Bradley told reporters: "We feel good about what Chad has done the last few weeks. We want to continue to build on that and see where it takes us.

"We took a look at it and there were some good things Chad did. We want to continue to build on that."

The Jaguars play at Wembley in the second of this year's International Series games on Sunday.
