Gus Bradley "impressed" by Jacksonville Jaguars reaction

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley says that the team has responded well following accusations that they lacked effort last weekend.

Gus Bradley has said that he has been impressed by the Jacksonville Jaguars' reaction following claims that the team lacked effort against the San Diego Chargers last week.

The AFC South side, who are without a win in 2013, lost 24-6 to the Chargers last Sunday.

The head coach told reporters: "I think that I really complement our team on how they've handled this whole situation. Rarely can you talk about effort with an NFL team and you don't get backlash, I think that generally happens.

"Our team really took it as a challenge and said it wasn't up to our standard of play and we will stand on that and we will support what the coaching staff says.

"I just think we really have stand-up guys. I'm really impressed by the way our guys have handled this. It doesn't surprise me. It just makes me even more excited about coaching these guys."

The Jaguars face the San Francisco 49ers at Wembley on Sunday.
