Wayne determined to prove doubters wrong

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne has revealed that he is determined to prove his doubters wrong and put in another strong campaign for his side.

The 35-year-old saw his 2013 campaign cut short when he tore his ACL during his side's win over the Denver Broncos, but he is adamant that he will be back to top form in 2014.

"It's you guys," Wayne told the Indianapolis Star. "You guys motivate me. You guys say that I can't do it. I'm 35. I'm over the hill. No way I can come back the same.

"I wasn't a big newspaper reader, but I've become one. Next time I read it maybe you'll be saying I've found the fountain of youth."

Wayne recorded 38 receptions for 503 yards along with two touchdowns in the 2013 season.
