Chuck Pagano: 'We will never forget AFC championship game defeat'

Indianapolis Colts' Chuck Pagano insists that his side will never forget the hammering they received at the hands of the New England Patriots in the AFC championship game.

Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano has admitted that he will never forget the manner of his side's defeat to the New England Patriots in the AFC championship game last season.

The Patriots hammered the Colts 45-7 to advance to the Super Bowl, although the result was overshadowed by the deflategate scandal which emerged after the match.

"No excuses," Pagano told TheMMQB.com. "We got our asses kicked. Period. End of story.

"None of us here will ever forget that day, that final score. We got a damn artery gushing and no sutures to stop the bleeding. You never forget that."

The Colts face Bill Belichick's men in week six of the 2015 season.
