Indianapolis Colts sign former New England Patriot Deion Branch

The Indianapolis Colts have announced that they have signed free agent wide receiver Deion Branch to their 53-man roster.

Branch had been available all season after he was released by the New England Patriots at the end of their 2012 campaign, after being with the club for two and a half years.

The 34-year-old worked out with the Colts two weeks ago and will now join up with his new side ahead of their clash with the Patriots in the Divisional Round of the AFC playoffs.

Chuck Pagano's side also elevated receiver Josh Lenz from the practice squad to their active roster.
