Brazill banned for a year by the NFL

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver LaVon Brazill has been suspended for a year by the NFL for violating the league's substance-abuse policy.

The 25-year-old was banned for four games by the NFL last season for the same reason, but rebounded to finish the campaign as a starter for the Colts in their playoff push.

However, Brazill has been found guilty of the same indiscretion and will now miss the entirety of the 2014 campaign.

Brazill recorded 12 receptions for 161 yards and two touchdowns in the 2013 season.
