Indianapolis Colts' Pat Angerer "excited" for injury free campaign

Indianapolis Colts linebacker Pat Angerer is eagerly anticipating the start of the regular season following an injury-hit 2012 campaign.

Indianapolis Colts linebacker Pat Angerer believes that he is back to full fitness after struggling throughout the 2012 season with a foot injury.

Angerer broke his foot in the Colts' final pre-season game of last season and was hobbled for the entirety of the campaign as he managed just three starts.

"Where I want to be mentally, I honestly don't think I'm ever going to be there," Angerer told the club's official website.

"Obviously, I want to be perfect. There's still work to be done. Things are on the right track. Things are a little rusty. It's still been fun.

"Whatever they want me to do, I'm excited to get out there. Whatever it is, I'm down for it. I'm ready to tackle somebody. It's been a long road."

Indianapolis open their regular season against the Oakland Raiders on September 8.
