JJ Watt: 'This season sucked'

Houston Texans star JJ Watt says that their disappointing 2013 season will not repeated under a new head coach.

Houston Texans defensive end JJ Watt has admitted that the team were simply not good enough this season.

Watt's men did not win after week two, completing the season ranked last in the league with a 2-14 record. Head coach Gary Kubiak was fired in December, with Bill O'Brien being announced as his successor on Tuesday.

Prior to O'Brien's appointment, Watt took to his Twitter page to give his take on the campaign.

He said: "This season sucked. It's not acceptable and it won't happen again. With that being said, a new year and fresh start await. Thank you to all of the fans who stuck through thick & thin. Very much appreciated."

With their number one overall Draft pick, the Texans are widely expected to look to highly-rated Louisville Cardinals quarterback Teddy Bridgewater as they bid to build for the future.
