Gary Kubiak: "I've got total confidence" in Case Keenum

Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak has revealed that Case Keenum is still his side's starting quarterback.

Keenum was replaced by Matt Schaub during his team's defeat to the Oakland Raiders on Sunday in the third quarter following an inconsistent performance.

Kubiak told reporters: "I've got total confidence in him. I didn't want to put a young guy in a bad situation.

"I'd do it again. I tried to help out the quarterback and offensive line."

The Texans have lost eight games in a row and are 2-8 in their season.
