Houston Texans running back Arian Foster feels that he is in excellent shape heading into the new season.
The 27-year-old has missed the majority of the Texans' off-season activities with a series of minor injuries to his calf.
"I'm fine," Foster told TheMMQB.com. "My body feels great. I actually think all this time [off] might help.
"You ask any player, 'How'd you enjoy the lockout season?' Great time. You had a chance to train without [having to] practise every day. When you got back to training camp, everyone felt fresh. That's exactly how I feel right now."
Houston open their regular season campaign against the San Diego Chargers on September 9.
