Owen Daniels: "I've never seen a more blatant blow to the head"

Daniels: 'Pollard's head hit on Johnson was blatant'

Houston Texans tight end Owen Daniels believes that the referees for his side's game with the Tennessee Titans missed a "blatant" hit to the head on his teammate Andre Johnson.

Johnson sustained a concussion after being hit late by Titans safety Bernard Pollard while making a catch in the fourth quarter of his side's win.

"I've never seen a more blatant blow to the head," Daniels told the Houston Chronicle.

"A big miss by the officials, especially for a guy like Andre. I know you have to protect every player, especially someone like him."

Houston face the Baltimore Ravens in week three of the NFL season.
