Aaron Rodgers: 'Officials made the right decision'

Rodgers: 'Officials made the right decision'

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has expressed his belief that the officials made the correct decision to overturn a catch from Dez Bryant in his side's win over the Dallas Cowboys.

Bryant made an outstanding grab on a fourth-down play, which would have moved the Cowboys to the goal line late in the fourth quarter. However, the ball was deemed to have hit the turf so the play was overturned after a challenge from Packers head coach Mike McCarthy, allowing the home side to see out the victory.

"I was happy it went the right way. It was a well-reffed game," Rodgers told Fox Sports. "That's one of those plays that sometimes can go either way. "But it looked on the Jumbotron it was incomplete, he didn't control it to the ground. I'm glad Mike challenged it - he probably had 60 guys on the sideline yelling at him to challenge it."

The Packers will play the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC championship game next week.
