Joe McKnight poised for Green Bay Packers workout

Former New York Jets running back Joe McKnight has revealed that he is heading to the Green Bay Packers for a workout.

The 25-year-old was released by Rex Ryan's side earlier this week but due to injuries at the Packers appears close to be landing with another team in the NFL.

McKnight wrote on Twitter: "Headed to Green Bay tomorrow #freshstart."

The former USC running back was selected 112th overall by the Jets in the 2010 Draft.
