The Detroit Lions have released defensive tackle Vaughn Martin.
The club only signed Martin as a free agent in March following his release by the Miami Dolphins in 2013.
However, Jim Caldwell's side have chosen to part ways with the 28-year-old after three weeks of their off-season workouts.
Martin has recorded 79 tackles and three sacks in his five years in the NFL.
